Fiji is one of the 14 country of the oceania continent(yes, oceania. Mostly wrong misintepreted, oceania is continent, not the australia. Australia is one of the country in the oceania continent).

Fiji is a archipelago of around 332 islands(from which 110 uninhabitated) and 500 islets(small islands). Located in between vanuatu in the east and tonga in the west. Fiji is divided in 4 divisions. Viti levu and vanua lelu are the most populated islands of the country and do you know the tavenui island of fiji lies just right on the international date line on the anti-meridian longitude.

There is a part of fiji which is 440 km away from the fiji known as the conway reef. The formation of fijian islands goes back to around 150 million, fiji is the result of volcanic activities. In the year 1874, britishers brought indians from india in fiji to carry out the work of sugarcane productions and today the 35% of fijian population is indian and 27% of population is follow the hindu religion.
