If i ask you if you, if you love dogs, your answer will most probably be yes(Universal answer). Dogs are one of the most beautiful creation of god or universe. You just can't hate dogs(they are just like that). Dogs were the first tamed animal by humans. They play with us live every bit of their life with us. But their departure is the most difficult phase one can face. Dog is the animal human most connects with.
You see them in movie, but mostly they just have a little bit of role, but their are some dog-centric movies. Yes, some directors have did this effort to movies on your favorite, dog. So,below is the list of dog movies that will make you cry, laugh and will make you hug your dog one more time.
1. Megan Leavey
Directed by: Gabriela CowperwaiteStarring Kate Mara and Bradley Whitford, this movies is based on true events about a young female Marine(Megan Leavey) and his combat dog, Rex(a german shepherd). This is a war movie. Megan Leavey is a US marine Corporal, serving as a military police K9 handler. She got a dog named Rex from military. After that how megan and rex have becomes friend and how they face challenges and get out of them(for that you have to watch the movie).
This movie is about courage of the dog, discipline but for sure this movie is going to make you emotional.
2. Hachi: A dog's tale

This movie sad and depressing, and definitely gonna make you cry. This movie is a American dram adapted by a Japanese film named Hachiko Monogatari. The film told the story of Hachiko (dog), who live in Japan. On may 19, 2020, a bronze statue of Hachiko was placed at woonsocket depot square(that is where the film was filmed). But why bronze statue ? For that you have to watch the movie.
3. Eight below

Eight below is 2006 released movie, which will make proud for the dog species. So basically, this story is about jerry and 8 dogs and how they survive the cold climate of Antarctica. Very interesting to watch, this movie is a remake of a 1993 Japanese movie Antarctica directed by Toshiro Ishido. This movie stars Paul Walker(you can't miss to watch this actor), Moon Bloodgood and Bruce Greenwood. Released by walt disney pictures this movie is a must watch suggestion from my side.

4. Marley and Me

This movie is about a happily married couple and how their life takes a turn when they adopt a puppy named Marley(by species a dog but teaches them important lessons of life). And one more thing it is based on a true story. This movie had set a record for largest christmas day box office ever in ticket sales. This movie have it's prequel which was released in 2011, named Marley and Me: The puppy years.
5. Homeward Bound

Homeward Bound is a family Adventure movie and in my suggestion a must watch movie. It is about three pets, which were left behind by their owners when they were on a vacation and after that three of them takes takes a journey to California to reunite with their owners. This movie is also a remake of 'The incredible journey' released in 1963, which was based on the novel by the same name by Sheila Burnford.
6. Togo
Directed by: Ericson Core

Togo is a 2019 film written by Tom Flynn, starring Willem Dafoe and Togo(a Siberian husky) who is considered as weak, but Leonard, his master trains him and make him courageous enough to face challenges. Togo comes out as hero when he leads the 1925 Serum run. This fim shows a bond of friendship between dog and his master.
This movie ends on a happy note. One thing i must tell you that this movie have that is, Feel.
7. Quill: The life of a Guide dog

Quill is a Japanese drama film. So if you don't understand japanese(like me), then you have to watch this movie with the subtitles on. Quill is a labrador, specialized as a guide dog. His owner is a blind man. So Quill guide him in his daily chores. Quill is a mighty dog with a bird-shaped mark on his left side. This film is adapted from a novel by Ryohei Akimoto. This movie's ending is inspiring despite being sad.
This movie is a proper mixture of happiness and sadness. A movie worth watching.
8. White Fang
Directed by: Randal KleiserReleased in: 1991

Starring Ethan Hawke and Seymour Cassel, white Fang is a family Adventure. This movie is based on a dog wolf named White fang and a young explorer(played by Ethan Hawke) named Jack Conroy. So the owner and his dog goes Alaska in a search of a gold mine and for the rest story you have to watch this movie.The main idea of this movie is that love creates love.This movie is also based on a novel of 1906 named White Fang by Jack London.
This film also have it's sequel named White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf.
